Our Art & Design Curriculum Intent
Art at St Teresa’s is planned to be fully inclusive to every child. Our curriculum follows the National Curriculum expectations for KS1, KS2 and the Statutory EYFS Framework. Our aims are to: provide a broad, balanced and experiential art curriculum and ensure the progressive development of knowledge, skills and vocabulary.
We are using our curriculum drivers of: Aspiration, Knowledge of the World, Communication, Preparation for Life, Community to achieve this in Art & Design.
Many of our Art & Design units are bespoke to our curriculum drivers or make links to learning in other curriculum areas.
