Principal’s welcome

Welcome to our website which is updated regularly. As a Catholic academy, our faith and mission is central to who we are and what we do. Our academy serves a richly diverse population. Our warm, caring family is made up of children and staff who are British, Indian, African, Polish, Slovakian, Czech, African to name but a few. The celebration of diversity is an important feature of our academy as we thank our Lord for creating each of us uniquely in His image.

I feel honoured to serve with the St Teresa’s team of staff and am excited about the work we are doing to ensure every pupil receives the very best opportunity to put our faith in action alongside high standards of teaching and learning every day.

We are proud of our uncompromised curriculum for all and how we promote equality, tolerance and respect for others. Children here benefit from a small, caring community with staff who nurture them to develop the whole child.

St Teresa, our Patron Saint, said “Do small things with great love.” Myself, staff visitors, parents and children will all model this by doing our very best in everything we do as a school community. You will see this in all our work, prayer and excellent relationships with each other.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have or if you wish to visit our school to see the fantastic work and mission we accomplish each day.

Thank you for visiting.
