This week, the children have been writing prayers for Pope Francis, who is the head of our Catholic Church. We are asking God to send him love and strength, as he has been unwell recently.

THE SPACE CENTRE – what a fun, busy day Year 5 have had today. Lots of exploring and discovering new facts about space and our solar system. This amazing experience will help the children build on their space knowledge for their current Science unit.
Today, we joined together with other schools for our yearly Vocation Mass at St Michael’s Church. Pope Francis reminds us, especially in February, to pray for young men and women to welcome God’s call to the priesthood or religious life.
St Teresa’s are now Guiness World Record holders after taking part in the largest poetry lesson last year, which has officially been approved. WELL DONE!
The poem we wrote is called, ‘What Do You Think Counts?’
Year 3 and our prayer leaders planned and led the KS2 liturgy today. Thank you for allowing us time to reflect on today’s scripture and lead us in prayer.
A wonderful launch day at St Teresa’s! ‘Fanning the flame of HOPE’ in liturgies across the school today, after joining with thousands of other children across the diocese. Year 5 went to St Edmund’s Secondary School to lead in a liturgy that they had planned for the upcoming Jubilee Year. Well done to the children who had a reading and for the amazing singing. Rev was very impressed and thanked the children for their prayers and reverence.
