WOW! What an amazing day St Teresa’s had celebrating together for World Culture Day. The children and staff looked amazing. We joined in lots of activities throughout the day, including food tasting, a ‘around the world’ music concert and family members joined classes to talk about their cultures.
Please join our staff and governors as we pray for Pope Francis. May he rest in peace and live in eternal glory with God the Father.
Heavenly Father,
We thank you for the gift of motherhood and for the gift of life.
Lord God, I present all mothers before you, give them grace and favour as they help raise their children into adults.
May they feel deeply appreciated and honoured not just today, but every day.

Year 5 have been enjoying learning to play note b on the recorder this week. It sounded great! Eventually, they will learn to play B A G notes, which they can use to play a piece of music.
Next week’s note will be A.
Thank you to Jo, who joined us today for an assembly from the Father Hudson Caritas. Jo spoke to the children about how we can help the elderly and how a small donation can make a big impact on their lives. Ducklings have arrived at St Teresa’s! In the last few days, 3 eggs have hatched. We are waiting for two more to make their appearance. They can’t wait to say a ‘chirp’ and a ‘cheep’ to all the children next week!
Prayer leaders have been busy this week getting Lent Family Homework ready to go out to all pupils. Each child will have an A3 piece of paper and a help sheet with some ideas of what you can do for your project. We look forward to seeing your amazing creations!
