St Teresa’s Feast Day

24th September 2020Stacy McHale

1st October is our Patron, St Teresa’s Feast Day.

To mark the occasion, we are asking for children to either come to school wearing:
A) Bright or floral clothing because St Teresa loved flowers and gardening.
OR
B) Black and white clothing because St Teresa was a Carmelite Nun.
OR
C) School uniform.
Please note, either uniform, or one of the above must be worn on 1st October but we don’t encourage children to come dressed as a nun.
We will be celebrating with Holy Mass together on this day and starting our Little Ways baskets on our prayer tables.

Read more about St Teresa here and look out for more details about Little Way Week which we hold annually the week after St Teresa’s Feast Day to help us do all small things with great love.

Children, Mrs McHale needs your help!

11th September 2020Stacy McHale

Would you like to help the school council improve our playground and outdoor areas?

We need to make play times more active and fun. Do you have ideas for how to improve the playground spaces we have at St Teresa’s? I will need by sending me your ideas. Draw me a map or picture or plan of how you think the playground should look. You can add equipment you think would help us to keep fit whilst being safe and having fun. We will then use your drawings when we arrange for builders to help us improve it all. I can’t wait to see your ideas!

Year 2 8.40am 3.25pm
Year 3 8.50am 3.25pm

ALL PUPILS IN YEAR 1 – YEAR 6
ARE BACK TO SCHOOL EVERY DAY NOW.

It is wonderful to see everyone in school every day, safely reunited with friends (social distanced of course!) and ready to learn. PLEASE keep coming to school every day, our attendance has dipped to 90% now but we want it back to 96% so everyone makes great progress! Our Reception pupils are enjoying their transition days and each group bubble has allocated days and times. Please click here for more information about these.
