Staff and children of St Teresa’s went to St Peter’s Collegiate Church in Wolverhampton for the Armistice Day Service. Joining together at the Cenotaph in the square, we said prayers and stood for two minutes of silence after the Last Post was played. We remember all those that gave their lives for us. At school, children and staff also observed the two minutes of silence.
In the month of November, we are especially praying the eternal rest prayer, remembering those who have died and no longer with us. Children are adding prayers to the prayer baskets which they are sharing in weekly liturgies and prayer time.
In school, we use these resources for prayer, liturgy and RE. We hope you find these useful to use at home too this half term. Look out for the weekly Wednesday Word emails you receive too.
Today, Year 6 celebrated St Martin de Porres’ Feast Day, which is 3rd November, in class together. They joined in prayer, reflecting on the life of their class saint and also enjoyed a sweet treat. #saints #stmartindeporres #feastday #jointogetherinprayer
Throughout the month of October, children across the school have been leading and praying The Rosary prayer, during extended prayer and liturgy time. We are proud of the children’s knowledge of the prayers and structure of the prayer and their reverence. #ladyoftherosary #prayingtherosary #collectiveworship
Father Pawal joined classes across the school to talk and reflect on the Prayer of the Rosary. We thought about the prayers that we recite and why it’s such a special prayer to pray in October. #HailMary #RosaryMonth #OurLadyoftheRosary

A BIG thank you and well done to the children and families of St Teresa’s. As part of Little Way Week, you raised £170 for CAFOD, by donating and selling delicious cakes. Your money will help many people in need! #WorldGifts #CAFOD #raisingmoneyforcharity #commongood
Alton Castle Retreat Year 4 and 6 had an amazing day taking part in team building activities, meditation and making fire! Children who will be receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion and Confirmation thought of how they can prepare in the lead up to the special day and how their peers supported them in this. #altoncastle #confirmation #giftsofHolySpirit #firstholycommunion
