Thank you to the parents who joined Year 5 today in their class prayer time. We reflected on how although we are different, God created us and gave us gifts and talents that we can use in our lives to help others. Thank you God! Amen
We are counting down daily until the start of our Jubilee Year. We are looking forward to gathering next week for a launch retreat day!
Reverend Mick joined Year 5 today to prepare a liturgy which we will be gathering together for next week in St Edmund’s chapel. Rev was impressed by the beautiful singing voices of Year 5! ![]()

We look forward to gathering together next week in prayer and song!
Thank you to Year 4 and 6 children who helped to lead our liturgy this afternoon. We focused on our virtues and values for this half term – grateful and generous. The children asked the school to go forth and think about how they can use their gifts to show others generosity and love. They will be adding their acts of generosity to our tree in the hall. ![]()

After Epiphany Mass today, Fr Pawel spoke with year 5 & 6 about the meaning of the word ‘Epiphany’ – a sudden understanding or revelation. We reflected on how during the Epiphany, God made Himself known through the gift of Jesus.

As well as all the lovely celebrations of this festive season, let’s not forget the actual reason why we are celebrating Christmas – the birth of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
All churches across the city will be holding special services for Christmas, but, if you are a Catholic, you can attend mass at your parish church.
Please follow the link below to access the times of Masses on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Have a blessed Christmas.
Thank you to our prayer leaders, who have been busy getting Epiphany bags ready this week. Inside is a note to show you how to bless your door and home using a piece of chalk. This is a wonderful way to welcome the new year at home with a short prayer of blessing, Look out for the Epiphany kits coming home on 6th January, when you return to school. #themagi #preparation
Reception and Y1 had the chance to meet some animals on our school field. We had a donkey, sheep, turkey, duck and a rat visit St Teresa’s. In the Christmas story, we know that a donkey is how Mary and Joseph travelled to Bethlehem.
