We are so proud of some of our amazing Year 3 children, who went to St Austin’s Church in Stafford today. They sang their hearts out, learning two new songs, joining with other schools from the St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi-academy Trust. We also joined in Mass together. What shining stars we have at St Teresa’s!
Throughout September we celebrated the season of Creation. We have pledged to ‘Live Simply’ as stewards of God’s creation and Mrs McHale was so proud to hear how children spoke up to ask our local MP how our city can be greener.
Say hello to the 5 new members of our school family, they joined Year 2 this half term. I wonder what names they will be given…

During Democracy day, all classes visited the St Teresa’s Polling Station. Each class voted for their class school counsellors and the Year 6 House captains. We can’t wait to see who was voted for and will be taking on extra responsibilities in our school this year. #democracy #vote #haveyoursay #pollingstation

Our new Reception children have settled in well to their new class these last few weeks. We had an assembly where we said hello to each new member of our school and gave them a small gift.
Welcome to our St Teresa’s family!
Today, we joined together in prayer and to think about the pledges we are going to make as part of this special Jubilee Year, which Pope Francis launched at the beginning of 2025. We remember our three important actions: fundraising, social action and prayer.
A fun-filled 2 days at Oaker Wood, with lots of fun activities, including zip wire, climbing and problem solving games. The children had a good night sleep (eventually) after all the excitement of getting their sleeping pods ready. The staff have been impressed by their teamwork, resilience and overall great attitude! Well done Y5 and Y6!
