In preparation for Diwali we are learning all about the traditions, celebrations and it’s significance. We send blessings to all our community and people around the world celebrating Diwali.
Well done to our Year 6 football team; they drew 1-1 in their game against St Michael’s Catholic Primary School.
Year 2 enjoyed their visit to the Spring Vale Library today. We all chose a book and got our new library card ready to use

Year 6 loved their two day trip to Oaker Wood in Herefordshire. Children had the chance to take part in a range of challenging,team building activities, these included; a high zipwire, low ropes, rafting and climbing.
We also had fun telling stories and eating toasted marshmallows around the camp fire.
We loved learning about different fruits and vegetables and taking part in making our very own smoothies. We also had a full day of Yoga and meditation.
Another fabulous sports day for Years Reception, 1 and 2. We had a fun, competitive morning.
What a phenomenal Juniors Sports Day. We saw children showcasing wonderful attributes such as sportsmanship, determination, resilience, respect and fair play. We are very proud of you, fantastic!!
During our Maths on the Move lessons children have been learning their times tables and getting fit. We love active maths!
Today we showcased our wonderful history projects; children and parents got the chance to look around our very own History Museum and view all the wonderful learning that has been taking place. All children got the chance to discuss their projects with their family and friends.

Today, as a whole school we took to the streets to Walk Against Hunger for the CAFOD Challenge. We all walked over 2 miles to raise money and awareness for all the families across the world who sadly live in poverty and do not have the basic food to keep them healthy. We continually pray for these families in our community and wider world.
