Reception and Year 4 had a visit from the local Fire Service today. They’ve learnt invaluable lessons about the importance of having fire alarms, escape routes if a fire was to occur and how to report a fire and much more. The children even got the chance to take a closer look at a fire engine, although it got a little noisy!
The children of St Teresa’s have been discussing, researching and learning more about Black History over the last two weeks. They were asked to complete projects at home based on important people who have made an impact on history. Some children from Year 5 and 6 presented their projects to other classes, sharing what they have learnt about these amazing figures.
Reminder: A Parent Internet Safety and Social Media awareness presentation will take place on Tuesday 17th October at 2pm for parents of children from Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6. There will be refreshments and a free raffle (great prizes) for those who attend.
