The pupil premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. Pupils who are eligible for Pupil Premium have been in receipt of Free School Meals within the last six years. (This does not include those only eligible for Universal Free Meals in KS1 and EYFS).
At St Teresa’s Catholic Primary Academy, funding is allocated to pupils through a range of interventions and opportunities, all of which are constantly evaluated for their impact. Please see the PPG expenditure document for further details.
There is also a Pupil Premium Champion on the Academy Committee who reviews the impact and spend of PPG.
